Mississippi-Style Pot Roast Recipe

The Mississippi-Style Pot Roast, with its unique combination of flavors, is a true testament to the magic of slow cooking.

Ingredients:  chuck roast ranch dressing mix  au jus gravy mix unsalted butter  pepperoncini peppers olive oil  smoked paprika Salt and pepper

Season your chuck roast with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika on both sides.


Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Once hot, add your chuck roast and sear each side for 2-3 minutes until it gets golden-brown crust.


Move the seared roast to your slow cooker. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the top.
