Classic Green Bean Casserole Recipe

Creamy green bean casserole with a golden, crispy-onion crown—the holiday classic made simple.

Ingredients: – Green beans (fresh or canned) – Cream of mushroom soup + milk – Soy sauce, black pepper – Crispy fried onions (divided)

Step 1 — Mix & preheat Heat oven to 350°F. In a 1½-qt baking dish, stir together soup, milk, soy sauce, green beans, and 2/3 cup fried onions. Season to taste.

Step 2 — Bake & stir Bake uncovered at 350°F for ~25 min until hot and bubbling. Stir to combine and smooth the top.

Step 3 — Top & finish Sprinkle on the remaining fried onions and bake 5–7 min more, until crisp and golden. Let stand 5 min before serving.
